You need to install the SDK headers for the version you want to target.
and why would you include the sdk for old versions of windows and make the
visual studio install even more bloated.

Anyway, VS2017 is very good.

As much as I hate to admit it, Visual Studio is one thing that Microsoft did right. Other thing being Bing Translator.

Visual studio has gotten progressively worse since 2010.
