Well it heavily depends on your use case. Java is alright, but you wouldn't ever use it for any productive application on a µC. This is a place where C comes in handy and is absolutely beautiful. You ain't gotta do assembly shit and the compiler optimizes it to be slim and fast as fuck in the end. it is really beautiful. But on the other hand you would never write an Android or Apple App in pure C, that would be dumb.
