If you forked GNU and called it Linux, would it be Linux/Linux?
The OS is Linux, whether it pleases narcissistic fat pedos' feelings or not.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as "Linux/Linux" is actually known as GNU/Linux/Linux, or, as I've recently started calling it, GNU plus Linux plus Linux.

You can not call it Linux because trademarks.

They only apply to a specific sector, and utilities aren't a kernel. I think I could get permission anyway.

So do you call Windows the "NT operating system" as well?
I'd just call it One because Linux divided by Linux is 1.

There are two different types of Linux in the real world.
>Linux, the kernel
>Linux, the OS
Linix as OS is a reference.
also fuck off GNUfags, go play on a highway or better yet use HURD and don't invade the Linux name (as a reference)
also
>So do you call Windows the "NT operating system" as well
do (You) call Linux "the GNU operating system" ?
because it literally runs on Linux, not on HURD.

>The OS is Linux
define OS.

THERE IS NO SYSTEM BUT GNU AND LINUX IS ONE OF IT'S KERNELS
