Why do Rust-fags keep pushing their meme language?

well technically you can use rayon library and just rewrite iter to par_iter, but I agree with the point. Also rust code is also just one iteration.

.iter() doesn't really iter, it return iterator (trait with next(&mut self) -> Option<T> function), .map() and .filter() accept iterator and return another iterator, this way you chain iterators. .sum() takes iterator and calls next() on it untill it recieves None, then returns the sum
