I replaced the battery in my Note Edge.

I realized it had lost 30% of its capacity so it was time to replace it.
>>
>>60722670
i actually did when i had my old galaxy s2. Now my 4000 mAh phone broke im going to get another one with removable battery and if necesarry, get a spare battery
>>
>>60722656

"unremovable battery" can literally only mean that you cant remove the back cover and the battery with your bare hands.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, it also said that it had a "unremovable battery" but it was easy to buy a new battery from Aliexpress, open the back cover, screw out the battery screws, up in the new battery, screw it and put on the back cover.

However I dont find it to be a huge dealbreaker, you literally buy a new phone when the battery is shit anyways.

No MicroSD card slot on phones and tablets is a huge dealbreaker for me though.

I replaced the battery in my galaxy S3 and saved a bunch of money and time because of it.

Basically I am theoretically fine with non-replaceable batteries, but I add about $100-200 to the price of that phone in my head because that's usually what it will end up costing in the long run because the battery WILL break or degrade in my experience. And usually that just means that the phones with a replaceable one is a much better deal.

>No audio jack.
When we get battery tech that allows for small earbuds to function 24h without a charge, then I'll reconsider.
>>

Where were you when the chinks won?

Currently my phone's back is glued. Fucking shit.
>>
>>60722656
This is important.

I have an advancement that will revolutionize phone security and ease of use. Has to do with battery tech. Simple features that have been over looked.

The capacity loss becomes noticeable in about 2 years depending on how you use it. I don't know about you but I don't change phones that often.

I swap the battery in my G4 all the time. I can't imagine having a phone without a removable battery.

For like a year I never bothered. I found out after buying a spare battery and a charging case for it I was missing out big time.

A third battery is in my note 4.

I suppose the one major issue though is battery calibration. The percentage indicator is incorrect when swapping out a battery that is only fixable with a few charges. The only problem is by the time the charge drops to 5% i swap out the battery and the issue comes back.

No bootloops after 1,5 years of LG G4 sor far

I carry a spare battery for my Galaxy S4 every time I go out on the weekends. It fits right in that coin pocket of my jeans. Its really nice not having to worry about your phone dieing before you can schedule a ride home. External chargers are too bulky
