meanwhile my h60 keeps my r5 1600 at least 5C cooler than my old phanteks tc12dx did at idle, and 10c less under load. maybe you should just get good.
i hate corsair as much as the next bloke, but their coolers (H80 with 2x noctua fans here) are less of a hassle and at least as effective as the gargantuan air coolers.

You didn't lap your CPU and heatsink. That's your problem.

So you're telling me an air cooler with performance within spitting distance of the h100's performs 10Âșc worse than the h60?

Not him, but yes.
Shitty benchmark setups are at fault here. My radiator is external for example and it does several time better than people say it should.
Watercooling is for hipsters and nu-males.
Nobody cares about your (((SICK-RIG DOOD))) you fucking pea-sea masturbaits need to die off from all that cancer sooner rather than later.

I had a corsair one and it started leaking on me. fortunately I caught it. my kraken so far has not let me down. nzxt's software is much better imo and the unit came with much quieter fans

I'm looking into liquid cooling and this is the thing what terrifies me the most over it - it springing a leak.
How often do leaks happen with the liquid cooling systems?
