Mine doesn't get dirty. It just seems to have kind of... melted, for lack of a better word, the soft rubbery coating on that section of the mouse. Don't know if it's friction or skin oils or if my hands have simply yet again with their touch cursed me to lose that which I love and take for granted. It's still usable, though.

My mouse gets dirty as shit because I sweat a lot, so natural oils etc from my hand gets on the mouse more. I wash my hands like once an hour because of this and in general have good hygiene, doesn't help.

I have a g502 and hate it. I have a wide palm with short fingers. I use semi-palm holding. I can't reach the "precision" button with my thumb and the mouse is too narrow to hold my pinky finger. My pinky floats and gets tense when moving around, it start hurting after less than a hour playing. It is also idiotic how it doesn't have a fast fire button. I regret buying it everyday and I recently have just fixed my Cooler Master storm inferno which is simply better in every way despite de alegedely inferior sensor which in practice I don't feel any problem at all with it.

Everytime I am going to use the computer, I wash my hands. No matter what I was doing before. I fucking HATE oily/sticky hands. I always make sure they're clean and smooth before using the keyboard/mouse.

My G502 is nearly 3 years old and it doesn't have any dirt in it other than the dust that settles in the cracks.
