Still using my Galaxy S5 with Nougat. Only issue is an intermittent problem with GPS but that's down to LineageOS since it didn't happen with the stock ROM.

I was tempted to try MIUI for my S4 since xiaomi make roms for other brand phones. I am liking MIUI on my xiaomi so far, might give it a try when i cbf.

When you use another version of the S4 (like the Black edition i9515), all those cutsom roms aren't compatible with it

Some people try to port them to those editions, but all roms I've tried had a major flaw like no camera. And when everything works, it's even slower than the stock Lolipop, which is also slower than stck KitKat

A lot of stuff went wrong with the Lolipop update besides that, many features were cut with no replacement or explaination. It has a really nasty bug where the equalizer crahes randomly during playback. Since the equalizer sounds a bit quiter sometimes, it can randomly get twice as loud in the middle of music playback.

I had some hearing damage for several days because of this shit.

As much as I love Samsung's devices, this was just awful

Mine failed lots of time. But when I bought it, it worked perfectly. I rooted it, and when I was trying to install a ROM, it bricked, never happened with other phones

I'm running Note 7 MM port on my Note 3 and imo it's faster than it was on stock lollipop.
On my note 1 stock samsung ICS kernel would fuck up the EMMC for good after wipe, this taught me to not bother with official samsung FW.
Just stay away from stock roms and you'll be good.

I got an s6 when it first came out and it still works fine even though I abused the hell out of it. I have an s8, but there's nothing really wrong with my s6 other than damage from dropping it down stairs and off the 2nd floor of a parking garage on concrete, and the charging/headphone slots being filled with tar, which is 100% my fault

Mine died after i walked in the rain for a few minutes despite it being inside my pocket, after getting the motherboard replaced on warranty the battery swole up and had to replace that too.
My washing machine fried it's circuit board twice as well but i think that was just tension in the current, never happened again after i managed to regulate it inside the house.
