How does this suck so fucking badly?
how does it suck any more or less than Microsoft Word?
If you wanted something that doesn't suck you would be writing documents in LaTeX.

It sucks because it's buggy as hell, crashes, fails to open and has compatibiltiy issues
>>60693491
How does it suck? It helped me at uni and at the work. I have Office 2016 but that's annoying as hell. Everything have been shared with me from docs.com worked with it too.
Well yeah, you are corporate whore so it's ok to keep the denial.

but its the most compatible program with the open document format
wtf did he mean by this
Personally I believe that using Google Drive with my Apple MacBook Air forms the perfect dynamic duo of productivity. Combining this with software such as iWork makes my experience even better. When you're using software such as Libre Office, you're using software written by hundreds of different people on the internet who don't need any certifications or degrees to "contribute." this is why I stick with software that I know I can trust.

It used to suck a lot more back in the OpenOffice days.
Also, let's not act like MS Office is all sunshine and roses.
I love LibreOffice and I'm glad it exists but using Impress makes me question my sanity sometimes. The other stuff works pretty well for me, I'm not using it for anything sophisticated though.
Lags when there's a lot of graphics and scrolling sucks.

It uses more resources than Ms office with far less features.
LibreOffice is trash so I made a switch to WPS Office. Works a lot better.
>>60693491
It's Office software, they all suck
Try WPS
>>60694475
This. It's all garbage.
>>60693491
It's still better than M$ office.
I've been using LibreOffice for the past three years at uni while all my professors require submission in docx.
Not a single complaint.
>>60694408
I tried this already. It didn't help.
>>60694644
>all my professors require submission in docx.
We use it at work since support for windows XP was ditched.
Never heard anyone complaining about it.
It literally just fucking works.

Idk man maybe you're just retarded
>>60693491
I was used to LO Writer. Now I have to use MS Word for something. Fuck, do I miss Writer. Achieving the same stuff seems overly complicated up to impossible.
>>60693518
This all applies to Word, too. It's just "word processors" in general that suck donkey balls.
>>60693491
Just use Wordpad or MS Office through your browser if you hate it so much.
It really sucks with basic functionality. You gotta wonder how difficult it is to implement tables that can take images inside of them. Because that shit seems like sorcery to this software.
