thats fucking cool I'm gonna have to go google some shit and maybe set something like this up
is it better than a liquid loop? cause I need to upgrade cooling anyway
looks cheaper
>>60689207
this is not a very good cooling method. you'd still need a lot of gadgets that create a lot of noise (i.e. air-bubble-pumps). you need to make sure that the oil has a flow, so heat is transferred away from the heatsinks. fans are a bad idea. you will have oil creeping up your cables. it's a messy thing. oil needs to be exchanged completely on a regular base. imo not worth the effort.

well it looks cool lol

>is it better than a liquid loop?
It isnt.
Oil tank would have massive thermal capacity which means it will take hours to heat it up but it has low dissipation area so once it does get hot there's no cooling it.
>>60689114
this is sort of cool but id never be able to do it because i hate oil like no tomorrow

the oil can also destroy your capacitors and eat away at plastic parts.
