then again i already dont have a reason to go past 3200, i just went to 3500 since it was an option [spoiler]asus cant update the bios fast enough and my ram is stuck at 2133

I've got an i5 because i have the opportunity to buy it for cheap, i would say is pretty good but i jumped from a fx-4300 so there's that, i think ryzen is great thought, in another scenario i would go for it

The A8-7600 is/was a pretty odd AMD APU. I have two of these.

It runs at 3.6 GHz on all 4 cores when using a GPU. It runs at 3.1 GHz without one, even if the iGPU part of the APU isn't really doing anything at all.

Yeah storage prices are a pain, considering you want to throw everything to the hardware. I'm 100gb free space, but won't be upgrading storage till Zen+.
Still happy with what I got. $100ish AUD each on ebay. I skimped on the mobo to afford the extra drive. Turned out OK. Haven't felt the need to overclock, only when looking at a few select benches.
