I know mech keyboards are cool again these days, but any of you playing with balls sometimes?
I play with my balls constantly.
This is the Apple of trackballs?

MarbleMouse or bust.

I have a Logitech M570 that I really like. I tried one of those CST trackballs once, but they are super expensive and poorly built for the price, also the scroll wheel is impossible to reach conveniently.

No, but your mom does

I always thought this would just give you carpal tunnel really quickly.

My wrist feels just fine, I have heard that finger trackballs are better for your wrist but I don't think thumb ones are really bad for it, and they're still better than a regular mouse.

I used the MS Trackball Explorer for a decade and it was amazing. I'd still be using it today if they were still manufactured and came in a wireless variant.
I currently use the logitech M570 and it is OK, but it's not amazing. Still better than any given non-trackball mouse though.

I'd say the literal opposite. The m570 in particular is like a perfectly ergonomic hand rest. It's the ultimate input device for suboptimal or makeshift setups.

Thumb track balls are the best. They don't have the latency involved of having to move your hand/arm
>>60660953
Have one, really like it. Can use it anywhere, good ergonomics.

You just move the fingers on the finger balls, you don't need to move the whole hand. Plus with finger balls you have more precision.
I use an M570 with my laptop because fuck trackpads.

Using an old Kensington turbo ring right now. It's pretty good. Old, so not as accurate as some of the new ones. It's mechanical rather than optical so it needs to be cleaned relatively frequently. However it's really comfy and I got it for like 25 bucks on eBay a few years back.
Maybe I'll upgrade at some point, dunno.

Oops uploaded wrong shitty pic.
I can't track your balls. Tiny.

I got this one, it's okay. they made some odd design choices though.
I'm planning on getting the elecom M-d2t wireless for use when I'm not at home and it would be too inconvenient to use a mouse, but I don't want to use a trackpad.
I've been wanting to get a trackball because LH and I think it would be easier for casual usage
I don't spend too much time in applications that need a mouse though so I've been reluctant to dump the money on one. G400 for years now
