No. I have only one objective with my vote and that is to piss liberals off. If it accomplishes that the world can burn and my family friends be raped and murdered as far as I'm concerned. I pretty much live for seeing angry liberals at this point.

It was worth it for the solid 8 years of crying liberals

I'm actually pretty okay with it. So far he's been a PR nightmare for the Republican party. They cannot do enough damage control every time he speaks and the media is just tearing him to shreds every time. Should be a landslide win for the Democrats in 2020. Enjoy your last four years. I know I will.
>>
>>60658406
The reason the laws were never applied was because of the acknowledgement of their existence.
>>
>>60658511
You claim that the businessmen of comcast and the likes haven't been scrounging the laws for technical loopholes to do whatever for a quick buck?

We wouldn't need net neutrality if the laws that cities make only allowing one ISP and the regulation that makes it impossible to start a new ISP weren't a thing.
>>
>>60659290
Those laws were pretty much required otherwise companies wouldn't invest in cities in the first place. Why would a company roll out hundreds of miles of fiber and then willingly share it with competitors? Infrastructure is not a free market
>>
>>60659290
which is an issue of local jurisdiction and not under the federal regulation. Nobody is stopping anyone from changing that

Thank god, the FCC should never of been in control of the ISPs to begin with. This is the purview of the FTC. They are a public utility. This whole shit show is the EXACT reason why a 5 member board with the deciding vote chosen by the President should NOT be in control of the internet. FTC regulations are slow but effective. They've worked for >100 years and suddenly the special snowflakes want to give up that stability to the FCC and Ninth Circuit.

The local elections probably weren't.

People get too caught up in the presidential election not realizing there are state and local judges, state and local representatives, state senators, federal representatives and senators, and mayoral elections, plus there are amendments and other ballot issues that could easily be tipped by a handful of votes.

I have a lot of money, quit my job and traveled for a year, so i didn't *need* Korean but when i go back to live there long term, i am planning on learning.

It's cheap. For my apartment it was like $350 a month for a studio in a good location of Seoul. Internet was paid for as part of the building plan thing? Not entirely sure how that worked but i didn't pay an internet bill.

We didn't used to, but it appears to be somewhat flaky. Anyway, you're not going to jail for having loli, no. But loli will be used as evidence against you if you in addition have CP.

Anyway, age of consent is 15 in Norway (and similar in the rest of the Nordic countries), so unless you're into literal child pornography, you're probably good.

>>
>>60660972
It's actually not. The way the founders intended for it to run the electoral college was supposed to basically vote however they wanted. A lot of states require electors pledge to vote for a particular candidate which is against that idea. The electoral college was also supposed to have way more people in it because much like the house of representatives it's supposed to scale up as the population of the country grows. I think both the house and the electoral college are supposed to have like thousands of people by now based on the original design. The senate is also different from the original concept, senators were supposed to be elected by the state governments not the people. The senate was intended to be more stable and less willing to allow large changes through.

The TPP was apparently mainly about bootleg goods and medications and not so much about the internet. I think people were just panicking about the *possibility* that it might apply to the internet somehow. From what I understand the main point of TPP was to bring the IP laws of the pacific rim countries up to the same level as America's and to unite the pacific countries under one economic union like the EU so they could compete with China. I don't think it would have affected America much at all as far as IP laws, the main reason we were probably in it was for the tariff free goods and services.

Alleged rape victims. I don't buy into the right wing narrative here.

As for Clinton Foundation, while she should have shut that down before she started to run for the primaries, they were pretty open about donations and you could easily trace the money. Of course, getting donations from Saudi Arabia is pretty shady, but still, they didn't hide their accounts and money trail like trump has done.

And finally, for the platform. Yes, it was a bit vague because the whole ordeal with trump was a new low in terms of shit flinging. However, she's been in politics for over 30 years. We pretty much know what she represents by now. Pretty close to Obama on most domestic stuff, but back to playing world police instead of reducing soldiers like Obama did

I'm actually done with helping conservatives. I've been to the south several times on vacation and the place is an absolute shit hole. Stuff I took for granted such as building codes, decent standard of living, general sense of integrity are all gone. I've literally been to third world countries that are better off than the south. It's ironic that people go off about California despite it having one of the highest GDP per capita's in the nation, one of the largest economies in the world, and people STILL flock there every year despite high costs of living. As per usual the liberal blue areas known as cities will continue to be the economic engine that power the country while red areas continue to live off liberal subsidized welfare and continue to blame the Democrats for their problems.

You shit hole ridden righties all better hope universities (which are in liberal cities) don't invest in urban food production (think skyscrapers of food), cut you off from funding and watch you people crawl back to the Democrats pleading for our sweet sweet welfare cash. Thanks to the decentralization pushed by the GOP, liberal cities continue to operate independent of red shit holes, so feel free electing the GOP to consistently fuck you in the ass on the federal level cause we'll do just fine locally. I can assure you Trump will win in 2020 just like Bush did in 2004 because Americans are fucktards, but we'll do fine either way. Insulting his intelligence with no factual data except "he's a meanie doo doo head" won't convince one single undecided person to your side. As opposition you have to present a viable platform, and in the current year MUH RACISM isn't it.

The funny thing is that I never called him dumb in my posts, I simply disputed your claim that he is extremely thought through. But it's funny you get so defensive about him.

Also, link to those hearings then. Should be fairly simple for you to find an example, since your such a gullible fanboy.

In addition, it's the Jew's ultimate achievement to somehow get /pol/ to elect the slimiest, flip flopping kike I've ever seen in my life time. White people (which are the black people equivalent in relation to the Jews) absolutely NIG out anytime a Jew outsmarts them because Jew's aren't stupid little primates that throw temper tantrums in the short term at the voting booth. Convincing the alt-right that it's fun to be fucked by corporate deregulation is honestly an all encompassing pinnacle achievement by the Jews, somehow managing to trick literal fucking Nazi's into voting for them.

Seriously, hats off to the kikes of corporate America. That was some Olympic grade deception you pulled.

I still haven't gotten a straight answer to why ISPs never set up tiered systems before 2015.

Even that picture of the different tiers has been around since 2010. Didn't the 2015 law finally enforce Net Neutrality? Why do people think it was a law back in 2010?

https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/9yj1f/heres_a_new_scenario_i_just_created_illustrating/

I know people like to point out NetFlix being forced to pay for access, why didn't they end charging the public more for their services?

Do you mean the one where they couldn't meaningfully resupply or refuel their fighters, and following their propaganda video consequently moved all aircraft to a Russian airbase, because they were terrified of getting hit again and hoped the joke that is Russian air defense could protect them?
We're talking about Assad's air force, the guy who hasn't launched any sarin since the Tomahawk strike, right?
And Trump, you know, the president who retards on /pol/ thought he'd align with their staunchly isolationist views, he was the one who ordered it?

Support to NATO and environmental protection. Trumps claims about clean coal and how windmills destroy the environment because they kill birds and metals used in construction somehow evaporates and poisons the atmosphere is absolute bullshit. Why would anyone increase coal subsidies and cut nuclear subsidies is just beyond me

Explain how nuclear is more economical than coal. Reactors aren't cheap to build and maintain and clean-up from disasters is expensive as hell.
>>
>>60664570
Cleaning up coal pollution isn't exactly free either.

Modern reactors are a lot safer and wont meltdown even in extreme failure scenarios.

Nuclear power is the closest we get to infinite energy.

1 kg of coal = ~8 kWh

1 kg of uranium-235 = 24,000,000 kWh

You do the math
>>
>>60664650
Coal is still cheaper
>>
>>60664570
>Produces order of magnitudes more energy for far less resources
>Does not produce awful pollutants
>Arguably aids in the R&D of fusion power

>>60664718
Nuclear power has the lowest electricity production costs at 2.10 cents per kilowatt hour, while coal cost between 7 and 14 cents per kWh
>>
>>60664718
Are you fucking retarded? You need 3 million times more coal to get the same power output as uranium.

Not to mention that around 60% of the energy is lost in heat conversion for coal, whereas less than 5% for uranium.
>>
>>60664764
>>60664804
You can look this up for yourself, coal is at this point in time, objectively cheaper for the U.S. If you want money to go towards nuclear, cut the gibs.
>>
>>60664764
>Nuclear power has the lowest electricity production costs at 2.10 cents per kilowatt hour, while coal cost between 7 and 14 cents per kWh
And that's probably not even factoring in the cost of cleaning up pollution.
>>
>>60664812
I have, and you're full of shit. Nuclear power is FAR cheaper than coal will ever be, not even factoring in costs of pollution control.
>>
>>60664812
>You can look this up for yourself, coal is at this point in time, objectively cheaper for the U.S.
In the US, only oil is more heavily subsidised than coal. Coal costs about 7 times as much per kilowatt-hour than nuclear.

How the fuck can you believe that it is somehow more economical?
>>
For every death caused by nuclear power, directly or indirectly, more than 4,000 deaths are caused by coal energy.
>>
>>60664570
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/coal-ash-is-more-radioactive-than-nuclear-waste/
>>
That being said, it's disgusting how the current administration wants to subsidize coal instead of focusing on alternative energies. The dramatically lower price of utility-scale solar power and wind power compared to fossil fuels and nuclear power should be evident to everyone today.
