Heard of it a lot but when I got into actually doing it then powershell was being a bitch and not working with the commands I was told to input in the guide
As long as anyone who has used it is here, is powershell a vital part of the course?
>>60649495
do you mean powershell commands are not working or python commands not working?
what version of python do you have installed?
>>60649520
it was ages ago so don't remember a 100% but I think when I put in "python" into powershell, it brought up an error message, then I entered in the command starting with [Environment] but that didn't help, And I had Python 2 installed just as the guide said
>>60649588
I haven't used powershell in a while (windows is gay lol) but if I remember correctly, typingpython
into the powershell, then python SHOULD start it up. You probably fucked up the installation somewhere along the road.

Why use powershell when you can just use IDLE?
>>60649614
The guide said to use powershell, I thought it was necessary for that certain guide but now looking forward into it, I should indeed try to go with just using IDLE or PyCharm that I already have installed.
>>60649663
no powershell is not needed you can use just about anything
>>60649614
Also, guide said this which I took seriously
>Can I use IDLE?
>No, you should use Terminal on OS X and PowerShell on Windows, just like I have here. If you don't know how to use those, then you can go read the Command Line Crash Course in Appendix A.
But are there any good free ones? Would prefer Py3 but I guess they're pretty similar
Any other free ones mean
