I made the original music production post and that guy is not me.
My music isn't very good but I usually keep it to myself so I wouldn't know whether "idiots love it" or not.
On the rare occasion where I show it to others (mostly producers for feedback) I get pretty positive responses all things considered.

The only thing I know for sure is that without all the software that's available for windows, my music would be way worse, as they would be my skills, since many of the online learning resources are for mainstream software (most of which is for Windows).
