Combine it with something like this and you get the perfect bug.

it's a Zsun wi-fi microsd card reader based on Atheros AR9331 chipset . People been installing openWRT on these and using as pirate boxes and all sorts of things. If I remember correctly you can even solder ethernet port to it, making it into a wireless router. Oh and it costs like $8.

I started looking into this piratebox thing. that's kinda neat, especially that imageboard option. to bad I just installed LEDE and don't want to revert back to that old openwrt version. does someone have a noob tutorial for installing Kareha imageboard on LEDE/openwrt?
Can anything interesting actually be done with this out of the box or do I need to mod it and shit?
I have tremendous immediate use for this. Is there any kind of serial number on the board I should be filing off in the event mine is found?

anon, that is just a (reverse) usb breakout. It does literally nothing
That thing is to plug into a motherboards usb header.
usb has 4 connections:5v, d+, d-, and ground.
The header use 2 of each of these there, + a key os you cant connect it upside down (read babyproofed).
SO all this thing does is put the usb header into the dual usb port shape that plebs feel more comfortable working with.
