You can often find a BestBuy or Target that demos those EU(?) or Bose bt speakers. Go hear them yourself and simply buy the one you find more appealing. They're both going to lean towards the "more bass is better" meme, so don't worry about choosing the more accurate speaker.

I have the UE Boom 2, I like it but it's pretty overpriced for the sound quality you're getting but it's pretty loud for the size and it makes up for it with the waterproofing and some convenience features like the fact that you can turn it on and off with the smartphone app. You're better off getting something else unless you absolutely need something that can be dunked in water.

The top one you posted is actually really good.

Couple people I know use them at the beach and in open space they give off a lot of volume and even decent bass. You can also connect a shitload of them together.

Pretty element proof as well, been meaning to pick one up.
