Wow, the deliusions in this thread are strong. 5 years from now people will still be paying people to do server side java develoment and whatever language Microsoft has people working in, maybe c# if its still around.

No one will be paying you to program in haskell or rust. Javascript will go back to being for web develoment since we are stuck with it now.

People will look back on server-side javscript development like we look back on activeX now.
