I have the Asus turbo 8gb. Runs great at 1440p. Kinda wish I bought a 1080.

Generally it's best to buy the fastest gpu you can afford so if it's a choice between the 1060 or 1070, 1070 is the one, get it

This is just what I've done when I ordered 1070 FE at the end of the last year. I have no regrets. I don't think I'll upgrade soon either.
