What are the most aesthetic terminal colors

How would I go about deciding which colors are the most aesthetically pleasing in the first place?

My buddy's father (pushing 65) told me that back in the day, you had to build your own pc from scratch. Soldering iron and wafers etc. He said he spent almost $2k back in the day just so he can get the fastest PC on the market with orange screen lettering rather than green.

Dunno how true it all is, but I think he still has the PC and it still boots.

What if I have a normal wallpaper?
I wrote a script that takes my current wallpaper and runs it through imagemagick to get a 16 color palette and set my terminal colors to that, but idk if it's "aesthetic"...

most shit for home/hobbyist use in the '70s were sold as DIY kits to save money so yeah it's kind of true, but you didn't have to do it just if you wanted an amber display, just buy an amber terminal or monitor depending on what exactly you have
