What 16:10 monitors aren't shit?

I have a Samsung syncmaster 26" that still works fine. New, I wouldn't know.

Any 16:10 dell is going to be good. To my knowledge there's never been a budget dell 16:10, only top end 24" ultra sharps with a million inputs.

Not always good, if you care about latency. Anyway, some of the older Dell 30" 16:10 monitors only have DVI and no OSD.
