Well again, technically they're not doing it,they're managing it, but the fact is that you can't expect security without it.

Again, I'm not defending it, but to me honestly living in a country like USA that invites people of all creeds and expecting being safe from terrorism while also having full privacy sounds like a little bit of luxury,at least for now.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but we'd have to see some major changes in the industry, because the old legal way doesn't look bright for few more decades at least.

NSA will still have an edge though, they have a working quantum computer for few years now, it shouldn't really be a problem to the average citizen since I'm pretty sure they're using it for research /dev and some special occasions

It's simple: i found a much more respectful option that fulfills my needs and that in fact i like more than windows on the desktop so i replaced windows. Android in my opinion is pretty nice, in fact i think it works much better on mobile devices than windows on the desktop, however as you mention google's terms are as nasty or more than microsoft's so android is in the same list as windows used to be: the list of software i would like to replace ASAP.

So as you can see there's no hypocrisy, linux became a viable alternative for me a pair of years ago and therefore i ditched windows, the same will happen to android as soon i find a viable alternative to it that treats me better (so WP and IOS are discarded) i'll ditch it (it's sad because i actually like android unlike windows in comparison). Easy right?
