I collect music because I enjoy having a large collection available at any time, with no dependency on the internet. I also like using cmus instead of a radio app because I prefer using my keyboard.
There's no benefit to me for using a streaming service.

I still buy and rip CDs to FLAC in 2017. If I can't buy it I'll just torrent. I like to buy kisic but only when I know artists are supported.
Streaming services are a non option in maple land and paid services like spotify do not actually have a good selection.
