How far do you take file security /g/?
I wrote a bash script to nest a directory in n number of password protected zip files. I also wrote one to embed that zip file (or any file) in a media file. Not exactly high level stuff, but it will at least make it hard for a layman to access my files.
I also started messing with VeraCrypt and it seems pretty solid. I'm thinking of using that in tandem with my scripts to have both security and obscurity.

I only encrypt my passwords and journals via gpg
