Dont use a phone away from home. And remove the camera, and microphone array. You can use a external mic for talking.
Use older CPUs, like the C2D. You can disable Intel ME on it.
If you have a Thinkpad consider Libreboot.
Steal your neighbors wifi and use a VPN based in a foreign country.
Encrypt your hard drives.
Unplug your machine when not in use.
Don't plug in a webcam or microphone.
Switch to Linux, look for a completely free (as in freedom) distro.
Don't use Apple, Microsoft, or Google products. (Except an Android to modify)
Switch to a search engine like Startpage, and a browser like Iridium.

When you are away from home also wear some type of disguise.
There are cameras basically everywhere recording everything, and they can profile you. Maybe a fake mustache, wig, and a hoodie.

This might not be everything but it should help.
