hi /g/ i just built my first pc and need a good wireless mouse for gaming (cant go back to wired) pic related appears to be very popular. but i dont know.. what are your recommendations for fps/rts/moba mice within 40-60 $ price range?
I don't think anyone but Logitech has created wireless mice with good sensors or low latency. As much as I'd like to recommend some alternatives, you seem set on wireless.
If you can find a G900 for the price, it's pretty much the upper spectrum of wireless mice.

you posted it. for your price range I don't know what to recommend, but the g403 is pretty great if you want to stretch for it

Besides the need to recharge it every 4 days, g403 is great. I switched from cheaper wireless - very noticeable difference.
Don't forget to switch off LEDs.
g900 has same snesor and battery life as far as I know, no point in getting it besides infinite scroll

yes it did, stop being ignorant
Logitech is the only game in town currently for e-sports approved wireless (no drops, no stutters). If the g403 or g900 fit your hand well they are the god tier of mices.
Good wireless is a game changer if you're into twitch shooters, shits like switching from a regular car to a omni-directional future spaceship. You never realize how much time you waste recentering and readjusting your aim because of the wire, being able to reliably flick shot from anywhere on the mousepad is pretty sweet.

403 is good 900 is the best.
Aren't wired mouses like 90% lighter?
Also, if you position the cable correctly, the only disadvantage is visual

80-88g vs 105g, counting the wire tension the wireless doesn't feel that much heavier.
Your typical fps setup looks something like this, and white box the area where the wire always snags or hits something. Most right handers learn through time not to hard-flick left from center position, or to re-adjust to the right side before left flicks, but with good wireless you can do motions like this without readjusting your mouse.
