people get used to it. they hear about chrome being fast, they download it and associate it with being fast. it dates way back and people just get attached to stuff. no reason to switch for them. they also see it at school.

it's to the point where i see people use chrome on their iphones which is basically safari (no extensions or ad blocking LOL) but worse because they're used to chrome
