Hello g,
I am a hardcore Windows 10 user and thought to myself: Maybe other OS are good too.
So I looked a little and found out that ubuntu is a good start if this is your first GNU/Linux OS installation ever.
So I downloaded the latest version 17.04.
Installed it via USB
(was pretty easy so far)
From then on I fired up google and searched about how to install my favorit programms.
The process is pretty easy.
Most of the time you just have to open a terminal and type "sudo apt isntall <application-name>" and hit enter
>My question now is:
What useful tools do you recommend me checking out?

Guys, OP here
Is there some kind of image-based backup solution for GNU/Linux?
>>60546106
Except the NSA is by far the most corrupt organization and misuse the power to make personal profit. Maybe the CIA comes close though. Also, "loveint" is a problem too.
TL;DR: Microsoft is full of pedos.

I know of plotters, meant to create graphics to insert in pdfs, like PLplot or gnuplot.
