Sell it on ebay. Then search ebay for a used 08 Mac Pro. The cost difference will be slight and you'll get far more use out of it. Easily best bang for your back in tech.

Don't forget to pick up a cheap PCI card that you can plug a SSD into and a USB 3.0 card on Amazon. Then boot from that SSD. The performance for such an an old machine will blow you away. I still prefer it to the gaming PC I just built for general computing.

Oh, and also grab a used GTX 680 (you don't have to get the Mac Ed). It won't take a more powerful card I believe. You can use bootcamp and game if you want. Fallout 4 was running at very high setting last time I played it.

You can't run newest OSX but who fucking cares.

The fucking g5 couldnt even run a decent browser or decent graphics card much less play 1080p without optimizing stuff.
