So what's the job, boss?
Basically that I created a proof of concept of a predictive analytics application for sales teams that is integrated with Salesforce and updates in real time. Uses Java and Postgres. I just landed a dev job making 75k in the southeast with that on my resume among other things.
I'd really like to continue working on it but I've hit a bit of a wall in terms of product roadmap and UX, and I'm no longer convinced that Java and Postgres are the way to go, but I'm having a hard time figuring out which languages/technologies are best for this SaaS web app. A lot of the info online comparing different tech stacks is very subjective, benchmarks that are not useful for this use case, or plain irrelevant since I'm creating it by myself and not for a company so things like how many devs there are out there for any language is irrelevant.

Sounds boring
I'd rather kill myself than do that
>>60540660
Not him, but it is very boring. Developing on the Salesforce platform makes me feel like a prisoner.

That's why I'm not developing on the Saleaforce platform. It just consumes a Salesforce API and imports the data into my own application running on its own VM complete separate from Salesforce. Salesforce development is cancer, deceloping an app that gets data from Salesforce, imports it into a database, then works with that doesn't have to be.
I use the loo to poo. Puts me above 90% of applicants I find.
