I've used my rice for presenting projects the last two semesters.
I only had trouble with the first time I did it in an art history class.

I have never had this problem, so it leads me to believe that you're all lying.

In fact, two different profs tried to do a powerpoint and their windows machines fucked up

I'll never understand how the hell a clusterfuck of a hackintosh running the latest version of Sierra on hardware from 2011 ends up being more stable than GNU/Linux for daily usage. YMMV though.

I guess I study at a decent college then.
People will look funny at you if you use a windows laptop and if anyone sees anything related to word or powerpoint you are going to get laughed at.
Windows is frowned upon but tolerated, but for fucks sake use latex.
