Help me /g/uys.
What's a good entry level 32" 4k monitor?
Preferrably under $700 if it exists.
Been looking at a Benq BL3201PT, not really in my range but is it good?
>poor af desu
>entry level 32'' 4k monitor
No such thing, that's not an entry level product. I think the Koreans have some that may be cheaper, but as I understand it they're pretty shit.
What is it with all the monitor threads?
>keep or buy a good 1080p is the answer for most poorfags
>If you want to waste money get a 1440p high hz monitor, that you will get rid of for 4K in a year or two
>want 4K then wait for a good spec HDR 4K
32" 4k is a weird size, you will still need scaling for everything

>4k
???
Besides, unless you work in photo or movie production it's going to be absolutely useless and annoying (Hint : Everything will be tiny or ugly, unless you're watching a 4k movie). 1080 and 1440 are still the perfect spot and they work fine for a desktop computer. At the moment a 4k monitor is mostly just a meme so people can stroke their e-peens harder in desktop threads.
It's kinda like the Nvidia Titan Xp : It exists, it's expensive as hell and beats almost everything. But you really, really have no use for it unless you have a specific case.

-------------------------
1x 96 45.8" 22.9"
1.25x 120 36.7" 18"
1.5x 144 30.5" 15.2"
1.75x 168 26.2" 13.1"
1.875x 180 24.4" 12.2"
2x 192 22.9" 11.4"
You'll end up having to scale, and many of your programs won't scale properly, either refusing, scaling partially or looking like blurry shit. 4k on sub 40" is a meme.

Firefox, mpv, and a terminal are the only programs I ever use, and they all scale perfectly fine. Nice meme.

>it works perfectly because all I ever use is notepad and calculator
Yes your irrelevant use case sure makes a compelling argument.

lol what horse shit operating system/desktop environment still hasn't got scaling pretty much solved by now?

It has actually gotten worse in 10 again but you can reg hack 8.1 scaling back.

jesus christ. why do you do this to yourself?
