i don't like to use the "just werks" meme very often, but it honestly does.
>>60519930
Garbage.
>>60520098
you prefere the C++ implementation? i still have to make the gui for that tho
>>60519542
Just post on Reddit like a normal person
>>60519542
I'm using mirc for 20 years, only used extreme for a year back in 2001.
Have no idea if I should change, will be monitoring this thread.
on balance weechat
quassel is pretty cool if you want a gui
irccloud is hype, the devs are slow and keep talking about a roadmap that doesn't seem to move forward -- I think they're too busy with their real dayjobs

>>60519542
irssi by far, but if you are scared of typing words instead of clicking things, use hexchat, is also godtier
>>60519998
I love O'Reilly
>>60519723
Okay, what's "with the times" in 2017, grandson?
weechat: clone of irssi, bloated, slower and unoriginal
hexchat: the sanest choice for GUI fags, the best UI, doesn't look like vomit and can do everything you need, but fast, you don't have to guess anything
irssi: configuration takes time but pays off, scriptable, this means you can do way more things automatically and people appreciate this, can look like weechat if you want
mirc: kill it with fire
pick your poison
The latest sysreset
>>60521591
Discord and slack unfortunately.
Put some memes in your botnet and people will download it like crazy
Textual
excursion irc or invision with mirc.

>>60523535
Hexchat is the new xchat.
>>60523552
why does it weight so much tho?
>>60519542
AdiIRC on Windows
HexChat on Linux
>>60523568
What do you mean? It does not, except if you install the python/tcl/perl packages.
What's wrong with Weechat?
>>60523607
imagine >>60523578 but by default
