Hey, thinking about getting this shit right here. Not because I think I'll learn something, but just because it'll help me get a job (self-taught faggot here). My question is, will anybody actually care (given the hypothetical fact that I can actually code)? Should I go for the official one (worth $1000+) or can I go for a shitty knock-off for $200?

scrum ... more like SCRAM!
>>60512340
Do you have experience as a scrum master otherwise it isn't really worth much. Nevertheless, I would go with the official one
On all of my interviews scrum was basically just a thing you know alongside real shit, something like office
No one cared about it really
I wouldn't go with scrum certification but with servers or ccna
>>60512412
>servers or ccna
so what would be the intro certification for this shit?
It's something that could give you the edge against other candidates. Better to pair it with other techs and skills, like project management.
>>60512486
Ccna is the intro certification.
>scrap meme shit
No thanks.
>>60512561
I'm trying to get into WebDev (double capitalized because it's an important field), would any CCNA actually help me at all to get my foot in the door?
>>60512340
It won't help you get in the door.
It's for Project Managers and if you don't have PM experience, it will actually look a little strange.
>>60513265
lol thanks, that's all I needed to know

CSM isn't for project managers. It's for individuals who are part of a scrum team who facilitate the scrum process.
OP, if you've never been in a scrum team before then there is no point. CSM is worthless unless you apply it. It is meant to demonstrate that you understand the scrum methodology and the agile manifesto and how to facilitate both within your team. If you have no team, then there's no point; unless you want to understand scrum anyway in which case there might be some point I guess.
