What browser does /g/ use?
>>60502169
That one
Firefox, only because it's the last bastion of freedom. I would never use anything that ships google botnet as a feature.

firefox mainly but chrome for hangouts, bookmarks and shopping. bookmarks are broken on firefox and screensharing on chromium but i dont feel like looking into it
>>60502219

How many fucking times are we gonna have these threads?
Was running ungoogled chromium for a while until the updates became too far between to make it viable.
Now I just use chrome again since chromium doesn't auto-update.
I would unironically use microsoft edge if they added umatrix and https everywhere to it.

Iridium, because the feeling of no botnet makes me sleep at night
>>60502256
There are ways to deal with that. I use RSS subscription for chromium builds at woolyss with filter to auto delete any feed for builds other than stable one.
Works like a charm and I don't need to have auto updater botnet running at all times.
There are also some other updaters but I found them all to be shit and like my solution much more.

Sane defaults and enhanced security. Most think is just a fork of Firefox but is not, the development is done in parallel with the Mozilla team and they give collaborate with them, but all privacy improvements are done in IceCat. The fact that you can use the same addons is appreciated, but beyond that they have a list of tested addons focused on security/privacy. It comes with their own version of adblock by default but you can use whatever you want, I use uMatrix.

People on here worry way too much about what browser to use. Just use whatever works for you. Install more than one, if you want.
