I wouldn't go that far. mpv is pretty usable without a config file, but it's light on filtering so it works with shit GPUs. If you know your GPU can handle it, you can add profile=opengl-hq to your config, but you don't need a complicated config file. Most people can't tell the difference between scale=spline36 and scale=ewa_lanczos anyway. (If you can, feel free to add the options to your config, but if you can't, don't feel obliged to add shit to your config for the sake of it.)

What did they change in the latest mpv build regarding the input.conf?
Got the latest win build from shinchiro and my hotkeys stopped working:

MOUSE_BTN3 add volume 2
MOUSE_BTN4 add volume -2
MOUSE_BTN5 seek -10
MOUSE_BTN6 seek +10

Mouse wheel defaults back to seek mode and side buttons (btn5/6) just do nothing.
Did they change the syntax or something?

AXIS_UP add volume 2
AXIS_DOWN add volume -2
MOUSE_BTN7 seek -10
MOUSE_BTN8 seek +10

These were changed in an attempt to make the Windows bindings more similar to what you'd use on other operating systems.

Then, if I want to uninstall it I'll have to manually delete the files and undo the file associations and shit.
It's much more simple to just click on install.exe and uninstall.exe and let the thing do its job.
