I've been using some form of MH since my BSD days. Used nmh until mmh was released in 2014?
nmh and mmh are in debian ports but I think mmh is still in testing. They are both in Ubuntu 17.04.
This makes managing multiple email addresses and multiple listserv subs a breeze. Of course it's overkill if you only use your email for ads.
