Just looking for some advice and debate into gaming pcs what is an acceptable budget?
If I have to be clear here this is a debate on what an acceptable budget for a gaming pc is, not a thread just to ask for help deciding...
Acceptable depends on what you want out of a gaming PC. Do you want to be able to max out settings, being ok with high, or don't mind it looking a bit shit for stable FPS.

Acceptable means to me, able to play most games on average settings. Not lowest not highest. Not choppy don't expect full hd either. Playable

And if you have any recommendations or anything it would be appreciated but I really just started this thread to see what people see as a basic starting point for a budget into a decent gaming pc. What's the consensus money whise on this?

Then go to logical increments, and check out the stuff around the Very Good/Great area

I only ask so someone else can look at your responses and give you a better answer

Okay I appreciate you helping me trying to clarify. I didn't want to make a beg for help thread or nothing lol just looking for a debate here into what is the consensus on average for budget

Look into g4560 builds and ask anons in /pcbg/ to rate them

Id like to just ask for help on what to buy but I don't think that follows the rules on this part of 4 chan.

Any idea what the cost is on something like that? I'm trying to see if I can get away with 1,000

Like less is better I don't wanna spend that much but that's max budget for sure

Try out pcpartpicker and look at some build other people have made for $1000 or less.

G4560 builds go around 500$ maybr over if you put a rx 570 4gb. At 1k you can make a very respectable ryzen 5 1600 build which will be able to play everything maxed out at that budget with res being up to 1440p60fps if paired with a rx 580 8gb
