One of my graphics card fans is broken so it gets really hot when I play demanding games. Anyway, it's a good excuse to get a new gpu. I'm just not sure if I should just get a new gpu, or a cpu. Not sure if I should get a new mobo to get a newer cpu. I'd prefer to stay under $500 or so for upgrades, although I would like to have some extra power to be VR ready in the next year or two.

I wouldn't sell the AIO, simply because I like the way it looks in my case (even considering how good the stock Ryzen coolers look) and not needing to worry as much about ambient temps getting too high (they're intake but my case is a closed test bench exhausting out of the top) but I have definitely considered doing exactly that. I'd probably want to sell my RAM too though, since it's only CL15 2400MHz.
Going for decent RAM alone would be a pretty big investment for Ryzen, especially in Canada.

I'm pretty comfy with performance right now, but if I see some deals pop up I will likely jump on it. I only use my desktop for mining and gaming; multitasking/compiling is done on my 6700HQ 960M laptop and the compiles are all small CPP programs since I'm just learning anyway.

I'm sure some kid will be willing to pay decent coin for a 6600K even a year from now, considering Intel won't be dropping prices on these by then.
