Long time arch and windows here, i have also used ubuntu for few months. Bought my macbook pro 2015 2 months ago it's great, it's basically arch without troubles and good looking. All things you have to do on your linux are done in mac easily without troubles. Thanks to /g/ i used to hate apple before but now i changed my mind. I'm also considering hackintosh for my custom build pc too. Anyone who tried hackintosh please explain cons

because they invent a new way to do things and then make you do that.
Then they change it two years later, slowing down your hadware 'accidentally' and fucking over your muscle memory for no good reason.
I'll stick with my stable UX with security updates, thanks.
Its userbase is a bunch of pretentious fuckfaces.
That's literally it. They're overpriced reliable unix machines, which is fine, it fills a good niche.
But you cant talk about any computer anything without those faggots claiming superiority of their system

It is proprietary just the same as windows, yeah yeah the kernel and a couple of drivers/tools aren't locked down. Everything else is under tight control and it is just a walled garden.

It uses the worst fucking filesystem ever invented, the OS can only be bought with their hardware, which only includes utlra-thin laptops, all-in-one desktops, one outdated desktop (trashcan mac) and some retarded mac mini bullshit. Other than that, they are ok, and their push for ultra high-res displays on everything is admirable in a world where the average smartphone has higher resolution than the average laptop.
