Yes that would be the one. At the moment I'm working on some sort of downloader that will work similar to torrents. You can use the command line and language implementation to download files but there is no easy way to check progress, pieces downloaded, how many seeds (providers) it has and if you have pinned (seeding) the file or not. So I'm working on something for that for now, someone can transfer it into an actual program because I doubt Node/Electron will suffice for the neckbeards here. Once I'm done with the downloader I'll work on the system described in previous threads.

No you can't. First of all, that opens you up to mixed content warnings, and even if you only allow ssl servers, you'll still get cert warnings if one of them happens to have an expired cert.

The only way around this is you either host the images yourself, which is most reliable. Or you proxy all requests to external images like animebytes does. The latter still leaves you open to broken images.

Question: When will seed/leech be accurately displayed?
Example: I, out of desperation, started a DL of a series and it said, S0/L0/DL0. However it is DLing at a good clip with 1.6 seeders.
I would hate for people to miss out on a quality DL because it appears to be dead.
