so like i found this old beaten up "Garmin Vivofit" outside today, and it doesn't seem to work like at all. it has some dents in it and the screen is totally dead. i kinda want to find a way to repair it to get myself a free shitty fitbit. any idea on how to start? i've already unscrewed the battery pack and whatever. pic is the actual vivofit i found

You ghetto, junklord motherfucker.
It's not worth fixing if it doesn't have a rechargeable battery. Sorry man.

This.
You'll never find a replacement for those proprietary cells.

>you'll never find a new cr1632
Imagine being this retarded.
OP, you probably won't get it to work without buying a new screen. Good luck fixing it for cheaper than what you'd pay for a new one.

op here,
thanks man ill probably just fuck around with the thing and see what happens
>>60473668
Buying another battery is not the problem. It's just outdated, and like you stated buying a new or used screen plus new batteries would get you pretty close to a 20$ smart watch.

op here again hello,
yeah actually that's pretty good considering these things sell for 20$
>>60474157
wait shit i meant 50$
>>60474310
Ya that's what I was just looking at. The guy selling the glass replacement wants 30$.
