I have several remarks.

Does the laser have to be white? From what I understand you just want a burning laser, and if so combing three colors into a white laser is an unnecessarily complex and expensive way of doing that. You say here >>60454398 that two multiple lasers is cheaper than one more powerful laser, but that's not true at all, especially not when you account for the cost of the combination optics. And even after combining, the three beams will be highly difficult to align properly, creating an uneven and large dot, which is bad for burning.

You can get 6W from a single blue diode, like the NUBM44, for just $70. But a 2W green and red laser from a single diode is much more expensive, and is hard to even come by. Likely you'd need some special diodes in a C-mount package or something, which is much more complicated to deal with, and will give much worse beam quality.

And if a white laser is indeed the goal, you can't just expect to combine any red, green and blue laser of equal color and expect white, you need to calculate the optimal wavelength or power of each to get a good white balance, while accounting for the losses in the dichros, which won't be zero. A clean, white beam is quite hard to accomplish and can easily cost hundreds of dollars for even quite low powers. A 6W white/RGB module of good quality typically costs thousands.

But that sounds kinda neat desu. I know literally jack shit about practically building lasers, but a system where a weak pointer - just powerful enough to have the point visible at moderate range in average daylight, or possibly with variable strength (if that's feasible in a laser) to allow stealthy usage in a variety of lighting conditions and distances - is used for aiming, and then a trigger button fires a high-power, short duration (ideally something along the lines of ~100ms or less, to avoid having to track moving targets especially at a distance) invisible laser - UV probably being infeasible for home use, but if it is, it would obviously be great.

This is probably impossible to actually build at home though.
