In regards to Ryzen processors, going for the 1500x over the 1400 seems like a no brainer. Double the cache, higher clock speed and a better cooler, but is it worth going for the 1600 over the 1500x if all I want to do is gaming? I might stream but that won't be for another 1-2 years when I can move to an area that has fiber internet, and by that point I could probably just buy a new CPU.
Also, what is a good GPU to pair with the 1500x for 1080p 60FPS ultra on AAA titles? 580?
Ryzen can't megatask.
depends on how poor you are and your skill
$30 is fairly low price for 50% number of cores increase
but you need to be able to OC it to those 3.5 to catch up, its trivial but lots of tards cant be bothered

B-but how about bandwidth?
>>60429864
which bandwidth
and what about it?
>>60429696
If you aren't going for at least 6 cores with Ryzen, you're doing it wrong.

I don't know. Maybe bandwidth between CPU-Mobo or CPU-RAM. Bottleneck?

nope

Quad-core poozens are garbage, avoid at any cost

I would go for either the 1400 or 1600. The 1500X isn't worth the money. Honestly, a 560 or 1050Ti is probably plenty for 1080p.

Desktop PC memory bandwidth is enormous. Even single channel DDR3 is enough to avoid any major bottleneck.
