WTF
I thought Userbenchmark ist trustable
Isn't that more like +100 %?

Also my i5 vs Kaby Lake i5
3550 is around 40 € now

Nice you have the same one

>wow look at me my fresh 2017 cpu beats an end of life paper weight
>>60426371
They put an insane amount of weight into single core. The 1600 is like 2x as fast in multi core performance. Basically the same single core.
They admit it in their FAQ. They think single core is the only thing that matters because muh gaymes.

What a bunch of fucking clowns.

It has exactly the same performance. If you don't need NVMe and a 4K iGP. Buying a discrete 1030 would be cheaper than buying the new CPU alone. You can assemble a complete 3550 build for 100 €, including PSU. Put in a GPU and you got a gaming machine.
>>60426433
yeah sorry, i mis read the posts, you have the i5-3550 ? what's the point of buying the 2017 cpu
>>60426371
> The effective CPU speed index measures performance with the following weights: single-core mixed (30%), quad-core mixed (60%) and multi-core mixed (10%). These weights are appropriate for typical 3D gaming.
>>60426478
Yes. Just bought one because they are incredibly cheap. It may be overkill for surfing and video playback but its good to have a gaming capable backup. Don't want a G4560 build as they don't support 8.1

Oh, you again... I cannot OC on a H61 board, but I don't care. I hope my mini ITX case arrives today so I can finally put it in the right case.
Theres exactly zero point in buying new Intels when you already have at least a 2xxx. The only thing that has changed is NVMe support and faster iGPs.
>>60427050
btw for comparison
I also have a SSD for this build now
>>60425203
Nice math here

Now that's pathetic, the year is 2017
