Hey /g/, do you know any cool projects on github where beginners might be able to contribute? Of course there's thousands of them, but I'm looking for interesting projects. Are there any cool projects you contribute to?
inb4 nyaaa, I'm sick of the pantsu vs si debate.
The Linux kernel is not too difficult to contribute to.
Find a device that's poorly supported. Write a driver.
That's impossible to answer without knowing what you're interested in and what you can do. Maybe try improving some software you're using yourself already.

I'm interested in learning, so I'm open to all kinds of projects. I code in Python mostly.

if I recall correctly then AMD had their recent software and stuff written in Python.
It shouldn't be too hard to hook up to their github
bump for ideas, anyone?

Originally I was going to make this either in OpenGL using C++ or using D3D. I'd still like to do it in C++, but if you want to do it in another language I'm more than will to accommodate you.

why dont contribute improving the code of conduct?
Find which programs you're using are written in a language that you know. Then check active issues. Most minor bugs are usually trivial to fix.
The two Nyaa projects seem to be vey actively developed so quite possibly things will have change before you do anything.
