They are good mid range priced chairs. People love to shit on them cuz of the whole "gamer" aesthetic but they actually do their job quite well and are durable. Real problem is the lack of options for mid range/priced chairs to begin with since last I checked, even the cheaper herman miller chairs were still a few hundred more than the average meme chairs. I've seen a few people comment on here how they've had "X" cheap chair and its lasted them years but in my personal experience at least the cheap stuff tends to only last a few years before needing to be replaced. The obvious benefit of paying more for a "premium" was that it lasts much much longer due to better materials its made out of theoretically saving you more money then continuing to buy cheap chairs over time.

I have the herman miller aeron remastered. pretty good but you have to get in on sale or it's not worth the money. It is way better than the other chairs I tried at ikea but the aeron was superior by a pretty wide margin. But if you want to save money then look up on proper ergonomics ( i like this guy https://www.youtube.com/user/TheErgonomicsGuy) and try to hit all the key points when shopping for chair. I recommend adjustable arms that can swivel in and out so they can support your arm whether they are typing or using the mouse. Headrest is unnecessary because if your head is at the proper position which is straight up you won't feel pain even after very long period of time.

Some $400 chair isn't going to magically fix that. You will always have a ridiculous amount of load on your lower back when you sit.

Get up and go walk around every 30 minutes. Maybe do some discreet lower back stretches. Anything that minimizes the amount of time you sit.

Having a seat that slides forward and back and a height adjustable lumbar support help quite a bit with sitting up straight though so the load isn't fucking your posture.

Plus, back pain can a multitude of things. For all we know, OP could be overweight, which could also be a huge factor that a $400 chair won't fix
