yesterday after having some problems with the filesystem just because im retarded i got to work manjaro in my laptop with a win7 dualboot and it works even better. The problem are the 10 Gb win7 uses vs the 40 Gb manjaro uses but as long it doesesn't fail to me (which it hasn't happened yet). I must say that it was my first time using or installing a gnu/linux distro and it was easy and fast. Also in manjaro you dont need any kind of programing knowledge because you got a graphic interface for everything so it may be an option for you
