Not (F)OSS. Also don't find it very pretty.
>Runtime of ReactOS
Why would I want a Windows clone as the base of my system?
>Safety of BSD
Surely you mean OpenBSD, in which case it's not much more secure. FreeBSD has atrocious records of security.
>Freedom of Linux
The kernel has nothing to do with the freedom provided by these systems. You are equally free on BSD.
Also runs in direct contradiction to your first point because the first point implies enforced "prettiness."
>Lightness of Minix
MINIX is not very light-weight by quite a few measures, for example the expense of a system call or context switches. Both of these are MUCH faster on Linux.

If something actually uses pledge(), sure, but most things don't.
>>60393578
I'd much rather have Plan 9 as the dominant *nix OS.
Linux + OpenBSD userland + Clang.
No GNU.
>>60394129
Pledge is a syscall wrapper, and thus, has races that can be triggered by copyin of stuff that wasn't paged in, so it's inherently insecure and pretty useless outside of verification, sometimes.

QNX

There ARE better alternative though
