Does /g/ know any good Assembly code and C textbook?
I have a class that is mostly translating C code to assembly in a few months, but I'd like to get started on it. Does anyone know a good book I could get in pdf to learn it?
Thanks
When I did work with ARM Assembly, I just used their manual/help files for syntax and stuff.
might as well take a look at RE4B

Yes CS:APP 3rd ed http://csapp.cs.cmu.edu/3e/home.html
Lectures for it are here:

Go on Abe Books and get the "global version" for only $20, the pirate copies of the 3rd edition are all shit.

Also, you could technically just watch the lectures if you are preparing for another class and get any assembly book.
This class/book focuses on X86-64 arch so all the assignments and shit work fine in Linux

Also, also,
If you do that book/course, you can do The Art of Computer Programming series with it if you want learning extreme. You'll get how MIXAL works, how MIX the 'cpu architecture' works, how floating point works, how arithmetic operations work (bitshifting ect) and it's entirely done in an assembly lang.
You will also be surprised how easy it is to do the mathematical prelims it's really a good discrete math crash course if you stick to it.

is there an ebook? because shipping to europe is more expensive than the book itself
